StitchBuddy Lite ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes, how it is used, and your choices.

1) Information We Process

StitchBuddy Lite is designed as an offline-first app. The app stores your content locally on your device, such as:

• Project details (name, notes, status, counters, pattern text)
• Yarn stash details (brand, color, weight, quantity, notes)
• Photos you choose to attach (project/yarn images)
• Pattern files you import (PDF/images)
• Optional YouTube links/bookmarks you add
• App settings (such as language and backup preferences)

We do not require account registration.

2) OCR / Photo Label Scanning

If you choose to use yarn label scanning (OCR), the app processes selected images to extract text and suggest editable fields. OCR results are used to help autofill your yarn form and are stored locally in app data unless you delete them.

3) Backups and File Access

If you use Backup/Export, the app creates a ZIP file on your device containing selected app data and related files (such as photos/pattern files).

If you use Restore, selected backup data replaces existing local app data after confirmation.

You control where backup files are stored or shared using your device’s file/share features.

4) Third-Party Services

The app may rely on platform or framework components (for example, Apple iOS, Expo, and optional YouTube links opened by user action). We do not sell your personal data.

5) Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information.
